STIR-FRY SHRIMP
This sesame-infused shrimp dish can be served as an appetizer before dinner, or tossed onto a green salad for lunch.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon (15 mL) toasted sesame oil
1-2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced fine
12 shrimp, skin removed and de-veined, rinsed
1-2 teaspoons sesame seeds*
salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a stovetop pan, heat the sesame oil and fry the garlic till golden
2. Add in the shrimp and cook on high heat for 3-5 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink
3. Quickly add in the sesame seeds and toss with shrimp, stirring frequently so the seeds do not burn
4. Remove from heat and serve immediately
5. *Note: Wait for at least 3 months after symptoms have cleared to try any kind of seeds
