PAM & RAMAN'S CRACKERS
We love these crisp savory crackers at any time of day! You can add different flavoring according to your tastes - chili & lime, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or others. They serve as a great accompaniment to the Cashew Sour Cream Cheeses/Dips (p.342) in our Condiments section.

Ingredients

2 cups (220 g) almond flour
1 egg
1-1½ tablespoons (15-22 mL) olive oil
½ teaspoon coarse sea salt
1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
turmeric powder for dusting, optional

Instructions

1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until they form a “dough” ball
2. Roll out the cracker dough and cut out squares (pizza slicer or cookie cut out) in a flat baking pan
3. Bake at 400°F (200°C or gas mark 6) for 5-7 minutes, or until cooked and edges are golden
4. Dust the crackers with a little sea salt and turmeric (if desired)
5. If they are dry, you can do this by adding a few drops of water to the turmeric powder, and then brushing it on

Yield

20-25 crackers, depending on size
