FRUIT & VEGGIE SMOOTHIES, ASSORTED
These variations have been created for you to “sneak” vegetables into fruit smoothies. You can mix and match these and come up with your own versions to best suit yourself or your family.

Ingredients

{a} 2 small oranges, peeled and seeded
1 peach, peeled and pit removed
{e} 2 cups (360 g) tomatoes, chopped
1 orange, peeled and de-seeded
{f} 4 strawberries, leaves and stems removed
½ cup (120 mL) water
2-3 cubes ice
yield: 2 cups (480 mL)
{b} 1 apple, cored and seeded
1 cup (67 g) kale
N cup (80 mL) water
yield: 1½ cups (360 mL)
{c} 1 cup (150 g) strawberries,

leaves and stems removed
2 peaches, peeled and pits removed
½ cup (120 mL)
yield: 1½ cups (360 mL)
{d} 1 cup (30 g) spinach
10 baby carrots
1 orange, peeled and de-seeded
½ cup (120 mL) water
yield: 2 cups (480 mL)
1 lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon (7 g) honey
1-2 fresh basil leaves
yield: 2 cups (480 mL)
1 ripe banana
1 celery stalk
1 teaspoon (7 g) honey
½ cup (120 mL)
yield: 1½ cups (360 mL)
{g} 2 small apples, cored and seeded
1 celery rib, ends trimmed
¼ cup (38 g) blueberries
1 cup (240 mL) water
yield: 2 cups (480 mL)

Instructions

1. Blend all ingredients of any one group together in a high-speed blender or immersion blender
2. Add in water as desired if you like the consistency a little less thick
