RIBS
Beef ribs have a long tradition in many cultures, from Korean barbecue to German beef broths. Our recipe is modern, simple in preparation, and delicious to taste.

Ingredients

1 onion, peeled and chopped fine
2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped fine
1 tablespoon (15 mL) olive oil
1 teaspoon (5 mL) white wine vinegar
¼ cup (60 mL) Nonnie’s SCD Ketchup (p. 353)
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon mustard powder
2 pounds (880 g) beef ribs, cut into pieces

Instructions

1. Combine all the ingredients (except ribs) together in a small blender (if available), or just mix together with a whisk in a bowl
2. Grease a baking dish
3. Place the ribs in a baking dish and rub the mix onto the ribs generously
4. Cover the baking dish with foil
5. Turn the oven setting to 325°F (165°C or gas mark 3) and bake the ribs for about Uncover the foil and test the ribs
6. If required, replace the cover foil and increase the heat to 350°F (180°C or gas mark 4) and allow to cook for another 30 minutes, or until done
7. 45-60 minutes
