BOETERKOEK (ENGLISH BUTTERCAKE)

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup honey
1 egg beaten
1 teaspoon almond extract
1-1/2 cups almond flour

Instructions

1. Mix butter, honey, egg, and almond extract.
2. Blend in almond flour.
3. Mix well and spread over a greased pie plate. Sprinkle with slivered almonds and bake at about 300 degrees F. until brown on the edges.
4. Cool in the fridge and cut into slivers. Eat it from the fridge.
