MAYONNAISE (VARIATION OF ELAINE'S) [print]
Ingredients
1 jumbo egg
2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard 1 - 1 1/4 cups oil salt to taste pepper to taste 1 tablespoon honey Instructions
1. Blend all ingredients except oil
2. While the machine is running pour the oil very slowly. It should take at least a minute. As the mayonaise thickens, the sound of the machine will change. *** It is very important to add the oil very slowly in a fine stream. Notes
