SCD AND AUTISM IN THE NEWS, NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY CONFERENCE

Tuesday, October 17, 2006

Last week an article was printed describing an autistic boy's improvement while using the SCD diet.
. . . Dhillon said, "we did occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, applied behavioral analysis ... we did all that, and it helped. But then he'd regress. The biggest therapy that's helped is the [Specific Carbohydrate] diet."

The article mentions Pam Ferro's involvement and work at the Hopewell clinic. This weekend, Ms. Ferro will be one of five speakers at a Northeastern University sponsored conference titled "Health & Medical Issues in Autism." (links to a word document)
