Jenny Lass, the co-author of the SCD cookbook The Grain-Free Gourmet, has written an article titled "Digestion discomfort: taking control of food allergies and other disorders".

When Jodi [Bager] was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, her illness spiralled out of control and she ended up on steroids. The drugs worked at first, but when she got sick again she turned to food to control her condition. I had a similar experience when I was diagnosed with celiac disease.
